A source tells Page Six that 44-year-old Musk and his 68-year-old model mother were made to wait under the rain, outside the Standard hotel in Manhattan and were never granted entrance into the exclusive bash.
“Everyone was shouting and trying to help, saying, ‘He’s Elon Musk!’” an eyewitness told Page Six. "And they were just like, ‘We don’t care, he’s not on the list.’”

According to Forbes, Musk is worth $13 billion and is the co-founder of several multi-million Dollar enterprises, such as Tesla Motors, PayPal and Zip2.

Although the South African–born magnate and his glamorous mom, Maye Musk, weren’t able to join the party, the celeb-packed crowd inside — which included Lady Gaga and Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen — certainly let loose, Us Weekly reports.
