The veteran Nollywood actor turned politician took to his Instagram page yesterday, August 20, to share photos of the apartment as well as the reasons behind his act of charity.
Elliot revealed that he had come across the homeless woman after rehabilitating a borehole in Surulere which is under his constituency.

The woman had succeeded in impressing him with her resilience after she bought a generator to borehole since she washes clothes for a living.
Sharing a photo of the rehabilitated borehole and the woman's generator set, he wrote:
"So I rehabilitated this borehole a few months ago, and the woman in this picture apparently is homeless and lives there at that spot, she bought a generator to power the bore hole (she washes clothes for a living). Boy was I impressed? So I decided to give her a little surprise."
On a picture collage of the apartment and some of the things provided inside of it, Elliot wrote:
"She got a clean, fresh, room apartment with a television,gotv,fan, mattress and chair ..a place to retire to after a days work. Congrats to her".

Fans were all over the post, thanking Elliot for his generosity. Some might see his generous actions as a publicity stunt but then again, as a lawmaker, it can be seen as his little to help his constituency.
