Pop star's babymama petitions NAPTIP over child abduction

The Lagos State Zonal Commander of the agency, Joseph Famakin had confirmed the receipt of the petition against Imade's dad and said the agency is working on it.

The ongoing drama between pop star, Davido and his babymama, Sophie Momodu has been further heightened.

According to those in the know, Sophie had petitioned the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons, NAPTIP, over what she termed child abduction.

In a report by The Punch Newspaper, Sophie, through her lawyer, Gbolaga Ajayi, had sent a petition against the young musician.

The Lagos State Zonal Commander of the agency, Joseph Famakin had confirmed the receipt of the petition against Imade's dad and said the agency is working on it.

It was also revealed that the parties involved in the matter had been sent an invitation for questioning and interview.

However, Sophie's lawyer disclosed that his clients were not interested in making a case but want peace for Sophia and her daughter, Imade.

Davido was stopped from traveling with his daughter alongside his father and sister on Wednesday, December 30, 2015.
