Today March 10, 2015 A number of female Nigerian celebrities gathered at Ikeja, Lagos where the Walk Against Rape (WAR) campaign was being held.

Nollywood actresses Ini Edo, Annie Idibia as well as singer Lami Phillips were at the fore front of the War Against Rape Initiative as they walked from GRA Ikeja ,through Allen and all the way to Alausa.

Here is what Ini Edo had to say about rape "Domestic violence and rape occur in so many homes in Africa. Women are meant to be protected by men and not being abused by them.lets work together on this#saynotorape. Let's walk the walk and talk the talk . All rapists should be in azoo #saynotorape# saynotogirlchildabuse".

Other female celebrities supporting the cause include Tonto Dikeh and Mavin artiste Di'ja.
