A Kenyan pastor has been accused of 'deceiving' her followers after a promise to them that they would all have cars before the end of 2017.

Reverend Kathy Kiuna of Jubilee Christian Church(JCC) in November assured her followers of getting cars before the end of 2017 in a tweet that bore the hashtag #40daysofglory

The tweet elicited mixed reactions from various Kenyans who 'patiently waited with hope' on having the pastor's promise come true.

But as the year ended, her followers were disappointed not to see the prophesy fulfilled as depicted by their reactions below.

One Kenyan was however quick to note that Pastor Kiuna's followers misinterpreted her tweet and that she meant one must have faith in God to receive such promises.

Reverend Kiuna and her husband Allan Kiuna are the founders of Jubilee Christian Church, a parish with several  branches across Kenya.

The couple is known for their flashy lifestyles, expensive holidays and exclusive collection of top-of the range cars; a subject which has often put them on the spotlight and at times divided church opinion.
