Former chief executive of the Volta River Authority VRA, Charles Wereko Brobbey wants his suspension by the New Patriotic Party, NPP to be prolonged

"I am on suspension and I have asked my suspension to be extended." He said.
He was accused of bringing the name of the party into disrepute by publicly criticizing the NPP during the infamous election petition.
He also openly criticized the 2012 running mate of the party Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia for his role as star witness for the petitioners.
He said the party could have chosen someone well vexed on election matters instead of Dr. Bawumia.
His suspension which was for two years expires this year. But Tarzan speaking on Citi Fm today said he wants an extension.
He also described the NPP as a bunch of "too many kings wanting to be head"
Comparing the National Democratic Congress and the New Patriotic Party, the founding member said the NPP wants to win intellectual argument while the NDC wants to win power.
