Plane crashes in East Hartford

A yet to be identified plane has gone up in flames after crashing on a main road in Connecticut, United States of America.

The plane, reports say, crashed on Tuesday, October 11, 2016 and flames can be seen at the crash site shortly after it crashed.

According to the local police, the crash, which occurred at the intersection of Main and Willow streets, resulted in a small fire leaving several utility poles are down.

While police are yet confirm any injuries, an eyewitness said he left his shop when he saw the crash.

The eyewitness also told Hartford Courant that two women and a young child got out of a car that was almost hit as the plane went up in flames.
