Asari Dokubo’s PVC rejected in Rivers

Asari Dokubo's Permanent Voter’s Card (PVC) was rejected by card reader at Bakana in the Degema Local Government Area of Rivers State.

Former militant, Mujahid Asari-Dokubo has failed the voter’s accreditation process for the ongoing general elections.

The ex-militant is a staunch supporter of President Goodluck Jonathan, whose card was also rejected.

Provisions have however been made for manual accreditation for those whose PVCs fail the card reader tests.

Jonathan was finally cleared to vote at 11:04am.
