Chairmen of all local governments in Kwara dump APC for PDP
All the local government chairmen and councillors in Kwara have joined Saraki and Gov Ahmed out of the APC to the PDP.

The mass defections arrive just hours after Kwara Governor Abdulfatah Ahmed, Senate President Bukola Sarakiand former APC spokesperson Bolaji Abdullahi all announced they were leaving the APC.
All three high profile politicians hail from Kwara in north central Nigeria.
Ahmed and Abdullahi are loyalists of Saraki.
The Chairman of the Association of Local Governments of Nigeria (ALGON), Kwara State chapter, Mr. Joshua Omokanye, announced that all the 16 local government chairmen and all the councillors elected on the platform of the APC have defected to the PDP.
Joshua made the disclosure during a media briefing which held in Ilorin, the Kwara State capital.
23 lawmakers in the Kwara State House of Assembly also defected from the APC to the PDP.
The APC has since dissolved its executive committee in Kwara in a bid to purge Saraki loyalists from the fold.
Defection galore
Nigeria's governing APC has lost 3 State Governors16 Senators and 37 members of the House of Reps since July 24, 2018.
Pundits say the mass defections pose a huge problem for the re-election campaign of incumbent President Muhammadu Buhari.
