President to meet with APC reps today, July 27

Buhari is set to meet with the reps in a bid to resolve the National Assembly leadership crisis which has been rocking the APC since June.

President Muhammadu Buhari is set to meet with All Progressives Congress (APC) members of the House of Representatives today, Monday, July 27, 2015.

The Senate and House of Reps are set to resume on Tuesday, July 28, about a month after adjournments were announced.

Buhari’s meeting with the reps has been confirmed by the Senior Special Assistant to the President on Media and Publicity, Garba Shehu.

“President Muhammadu Buhari will be meeting with the APC members of the House of Representatives at the new Banquet Hall of the State House on Monday at 5pm,” Shehu said.

The meeting will be Buhari’s first with all the APC legislators since he assumed office on May 29.
