Avoiding things we fear only makes our fears get bigger in our mind because what you resist will persist which keep you from living your true potential. As difficult as it may seem, It’s time we face our fears. To face your fears you will have to
1. Identify your fears: Is the first step of mastering fears and also helps you realize how much effect your fears have on you.
2. Embrace your fears: Visualize yourself being more than able, worthy and capable of handling your fears. there's a difference between having a fear, and a fear having you! embrace it!.
3. Talk about your fears: talking about your fear with someone you know and trust help lessen your anxiety.
4. Read books specific to your fears: This will only open new doors on how you can get rid of your fear. You can also read a lot of motivational and inspirational work on and around the topic you are dealing with.
5. Work on your thoughts: Make your dominant thoughts positive, instead of expecting the worst, train your mind to expect the best.
6. Take advantage of your fears: Your fear can actually be a helpful tool. It can be used to motivate you. It gives you that adrenaline rush. Fear can be a major motivator so use it to your advantage. Accept that this is something you are scared of but then also accept that you have to work through it so you can be a productive human being.
7. Take action: Understand that fears lie, They are created by my imagination to make reality seem scarier than it is. When you take face your fears, they become weaker, because you realize that reality isn’t nearly as bad as your imagination.
