At the age of 15, I started gaining understanding about purpose, and then I started discovering some hidden treasures that lied within.

At the age of 15, I started gaining understanding about purpose, and then I started discovering some hidden treasures that lied within.

I was glad and overjoyed, little did I know that the more you discover, the deeper you had to go, which required more work (hard work). Well as time went on, I was really focusing on the first treasure which I had discovered. The following year some other treasures got discovered, then I found out I was really idealistic.

My mind became flooded with ideas, some feasible within a space of time, while others weren’t feasible in the nearest possible future. I got really confused, didn’t know what to do, or where to start from. In that realm of confusion, I wasted a whole year and almost more than half of the following year.

On a faithful day, I wrote down my feelings and I titled it ONE LIFE, LIVE THEM. Well it goes thus,

“I live a life where I want to do so many things, funny enough

Some of them scares me, and I ask myself ‘can I actually do all this’?

I just believe and say YES I CAN.

Still in my quack faith and believe, I wonder,

Can I have more than one life or can I die but still be alive at the same time?

I still wonder and ask myself, even if I had a thousand life to live,

Can I live all I have dreamt?

So many questions I want to ask, but something within just tells me

You have ONE LIFE, LIVE THEM”.

Now why that title?

There are so many things we dream to bring to reality, but at times we just get confused, soaked in our thoughts, not knowing where to start from, or how to make a move, but the funny truth is you just have to start from somewhere, you have to make a move, you have to take a step. Though it might seem rough, but the most important thing is that you did something, and not just sit around thinking, wishing, or imagining that something will happen all of a sudden.

Not just that, you can as well be and do as many things as you want to do and become, just have a priority, and know which should come first. Just like me, then one of my dreams was, (and still is) to have an N.G.O to empower every female, but I was still too young, I had to empower and equip myself first, so that had to wait while I focused on actualizing other dreams. So today, I do not just write, but I act, present, and sing as well, which makes some of my friends call me ‘multi-talented’ or ‘Jack of all trade (but not master of none)’.

Also, we can accomplish all it is that we want to within this one life we have to live. We don’t and can’t have two, three or even a thousand lives to achieve whatever it is we want to. So the set time is now. Be the best and be all you can be within this ONE LIFE.
