Women protest in Imo over alleged assault of Okorocha’s daughter

The protesting women vow to match to the Imo state Police Headquarters to submit their petition against the state government.

Hundreds of women have reportedly taken to the streets in Imo State to protest the alleged assault of Uloma-Rochas Nwosu, the daughter of the immediate past governor of the state, Senator Rochas Okorocha.

Uloma, the first daughter of the former governor was said to have been attacked by some security operatives at a shopping complex belonging to the ex-governor’s wife.

According to Vanguard, the group of protesting women gathered at at the Rochas Foundation office along Okigwe road, at about 10:59 am.

Expressing their displeasure over the alleged attack on Uloma, the women said they will match to the Imo state Police Headquarters to submit their petition against the state government.
