Controversy trails alleged murder of students of college of education

There is controversy over the alleged murder of five students of the Kaduna college of education in Gidan Waya.

Nasir El-Rufai

The Chief Executive Officer of Chocolate City group, Audu Maikori had taken to Twitter to narrate how his driver's younger brother and four other students of the institution had been ambushed by herdsmen and killed.

The story was however denied by the school management which maintained no student of the institution was either ambushed or killed.

The statement signed by the Acting Registrar, Samuel Tukurah, the school is unaware of such incident as the college does not run any department of mass communication neither are the students on Gidan-Waya campus in session.

The statement further implored the general public to disregard the story as it is a mere attempt at compounding the security challenges being experienced in Southern Kaduna and Kaduna as a whole.
