EFCC invites ex-governor for questioning over N23bn campaign fund scandal
According to the EFCC, Shekarau benefited from the money which was shared by Alison-Madueke in order to ensure the re-election of former president, Goodluck Jonathan.

Shekarau was urged to appear at the EFCC’s office in Kano today, May 10, 2016, Daily Trust reports.
“Shekarau was invited and is expected to come to the commission’s office in Kano today (Tuesday), he had accepted that in his acknowledgement,” a source said.
According to the EFCC, Shekarau benefited from the money which was shared by Alison-Madueke in order to ensure the re-election of former president, Goodluck Jonathan.
Meanwhile, former aviation minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has also been invited for interrogation by the EFCC over allegations of money laundering.
