He also promised the people of Kogi that his administration will do its best to ensure that foreign investors come into the state.

The Governor also said Nigeria will soon come out of the current economic challenges it is going through.

According to Vanguard, Bello said he believes Buhari has all it takes to bring the economy back on its feet.

Bello said “We are doing our best to woo foreign investors to the state and without absolute peace and unity among the people, the state cannot enjoy such opportunity.”

Adding that “Over 100,000 youth and women would be empowered through the line up empowerment programmes of the state government.

“My administration is youth based, we are rolling out this employment scheme as a way of reducing unemployment and to prevent ‘Abuja based politicians’ from using them to cause crises in the state.”

Recently, Governor Yahaya Bello was reportedly attacked after Juma’at service at Central Mosque - Old Market in Kogi state by angry residents who alleged that he was spending state funds on celebrations while he owed them salaries.
