'We'll fight corruption to a standstill' - Vice President assures

The Vice President added that the three cardinal goals of the Buhari administration are; improving security, fighting corruption and growing the economy.

The Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo has reaffirmed the Muhammadu Buhari administration's commitment to recovering all looted funds and fighting corruption to a standstill.

He stated this on Thursday, October 22, at the University of Ibadan, while speaking at a conference entitled; “The Predicament of Corruption and the Quest for Holistic Development in Africa”‎.

Osinbajo, who was represented by the Secretary, Presidential Advisory Committee on Anti-Corruption, Prof. Bolaji Owasanoye,said the President is determined to do this by strengthening institutions, improving sanction and enforcement and upholding the rule of law.

He however promised to communicate the recommendations at the conference to the Presidency for consideration.
