Acting President to sign 2017 budget on Thursday

Saraki and Dogara are expected to be at the Villa as Osinbajo signs the 2017 budget.

A source told TheCable that Osinbajo had informed the National Assembly of the move.

Senate President Bukola Saraki and Speaker Yakubu Dogara are expected to be at the Presidential villa for the event tomorrow.

Both chambers of the National had passed the appropriation bill on Thursday, May 11.

“Enang informed the leadership of the senate that acting president would sign the budget tomorrow at 9am. So, the presiding officers are expected to be there,” the source said.

Senior Special Assistant to the President on National Assembly Matters, Ita Enang, had on Wednesday, May 17, said the budget would be signed by Buhari.
