Gov. rewards IMSU best student with N1m and employment

Chigozie was also awarded a scholarship for his masters abroad as well as additional cash token of N500,000 from top dignitaries in the state.

The lucky graduand, Chigozie, who hails from Ogbaku, Mbaitolu Local Government Area and studied optometry, was announced the best graduand of the University at its 7th convocation with CGP of 4.71 on Friday, March 18, 2016.

According to multiple reports, Chigozie was also awarded a scholarship for his masters abroad as well as additional cash token of N500,000 from the contribution of Hon. Deacon Chike Okafor, representing Okigwe South Federal constituency at the House of Representatives, and the Chief of staff government house Owerri, Hon. Uche Nwosu.

The influx of gift continued as IMSU's pro Chancellor, Chief Innocent of Innoson cars, rewarded Chigozie with a brand new car from Innoson group of companies, and Hon. Mathew Omegara gave him the sum of N50,000 to fuel the new car.
