EFCC rejects ex minister’s N100m refund

A source told newsmen that the ex minister was asked to refund N600m by the EFCC Chairman, Magu.

According to reports, the anti-graft agency has rejected Obanikoro’s offer to refund only N100m.

An EFCC source told Daily Post that the ex minister was asked to refund N600m by its Chairman, Ibrahim Magu.

He also said that Obanikoro refused to sign an undertaking that he will pay N600m, because he had no means of raising the money, reports say.

The source said “He refused to sign the pledge, saying the money was too much.”

The former minister had earlier refunded N100m to the anti-graft agency.
