Mastermind of Agip pipeline bombing arrested, NSCDC confirms
The affected pipeline was along the Azuzuama – Ikienghenbiri axis of the trunk line conveying crude oil from the Agip flowstation at Tebidaba to Brass.

A group of armed youths from Ikienghenbiri community in Southern Ijaw Local Government Area of Bayelsa were alleged to have bombed an Agip pipeline in the state on Sunday, May 22.
It was gathered that the ring leaders of the group Suoyou Ambu, Iyelawei and Fyneboy, are still on the run but one of them, identified as Peregbakumo, is in the custody of the NSCDC.
The NSCDC Commandant in the State, Mr. Desmond Agu disclosed thisat a news conference on Monday, May 23.
“We are on the trail of other suspects who are on the run and we will surely apprehend them," Agu said.
He said the NSCDC in its resolve to protect and secure the critical national assets in the state will arraign and diligently prosecute the suspect.
