Usman said the troops also foiled an attempt by the bandits to cause mayhem in the area.

He said one personnel of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) was killed by the marauders before the arrival of the troops.
Usman said that the soldiers recovered two AK-47 rifles, six magazines and seven motorcycles from the hoodlums.
