Gunmen abduct Emir from palace

Officials say the Emir's location remains unknown.

Punch is reporting that, gunmen on Friday, March 20, abducted the Emir of Bukukuyum in Zamfara State from his palace.

The commissioner for Information in the state, Ibrahim Magaji, has confirmed the incident.

As at press time, 12.24pm on Saturday, the Emir’s condition or whereabouts is uncertain.
