During the four weeks strike, angry workers clashed with the Ondo state Governor, Olusegun Mimiko and prevented him from entering the Government House.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) also slammed Mimiko for travelling to the United Kingdom despite his inability to pay salaries.

Workers in Ekiti state also ended their strike after reaching an agreement with the state government.

The APC accused the Ondo state Governor of planning to hold a mass rally against President Buhari.
