According to Vanguard, the TETFUND sponsored building which is under construction collapsed around 12noon on Monday, August 22.

It was gathered that some labourers are still trapped under the rubbles. The exact number of casualties was not ascertained as at press time.

But an eyewitness told the newspaper that the number of casualties may be huge.

Men of the state Fire Service have been deployed to the scene.
