Iyang made the presentation of the new Bajaj motorcycle in Abuja at the meeting of the Akwa Ibom Consolidation Alliance (ACA), Abuja Chapter.
Iyang said that he was told about the beneficiary, Mr Upe Aaron's predicament in March.
``This young man was made known to me by the President of ACA in his constituency that he lost his wife and was left with three children to cater for.
``Fortunately for him he got a motorcycle from a neighbour who he was paying on a daily basis.
``But there came a certain night, armed robbers struck in his neighbourhood and collected the motorcycle from him.
``As I speak with you, that young man's children are out of school and to even feed is now a problem, because the wife that would have been there to struggle with him is no more.
``This is one of the things I discovered during my tour of the state and I promised to help the man.
``Today I am here to redeem my pledge," Iyang said.
Aaron who spoke, commended Iyang and the Akwa Ibom government for their intervention.
``I was never expecting this. This is a great relief and it will be a great help in taking care of my family,’’ Aaron said.
