FCT Administration embarks on water plant maintenance

The Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA) Abuja has said is it embarking on a routine maintenance work on Plant 2 of the FCT Water Board, which supplies water to Apo, Gwarinpa I (Life-Camp), Gwarinpa II, Kado Districts and Bwari.

According to FCTA, residents of the Federal Capital Territory should take adequate measures as there will be interruption in water supply.

In a statement signed by Muhammad Hazat Sule, FCTA Chief Press Secretary, the pressure of water supply to these areas will be affected on Saturday, March 19 2016.

The Administration assures that normal water supply will be restored on Sunday, March 20, 2016.

Thus, the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello regrets the inconveniences this water supply disruption may cause some of the residents of the Territory.

Malam Bello however, promised that FCT Administration will work round the clock to restore normal supply on or before the stated date.

The Minister therefore, solicits for the support and understanding of the residents of the Federal Capital Territory to enable him achieve President Muhammadu Buhari’s vision of ensuring uninterrupted, clean and potable water supply to Abuja residents.
