A woman has been kidnapped by unknown men in Aba, Abia State while she was taking her children to school.
Gunmen kidnap wife after attempt on her husband failed
It was reported that the gunmen had unsuccessfully tried to kidnap the woman’s husband two weeks before.
The gunmen took the woman in from of her children.

According to eyewitnesses, the kidnappers used their vehicle to block the woman as she approached Road 8 Junction, Federal Housing Estate, Ogbor Hill, and ordered her kids out of the car.
It was reported that the gunmen had unsuccessfully tried to kidnap the woman’s husband two weeks before. It is believed the unnamed woman was taken to get at the husband.
It was not clear as at press time if the kidnappers had demanded a ransom.
