The Group Managing Director, of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), Dr. Ibe Kachikwu, has announced that the corporation will make public its financial transactions periodically.

He also said that the move is to ensure transparency and a foundation of clearness.

Kachikwu said this new practise will start in the month of September.
According to Punch Newspapers, Kachikwu said “I want transparency. Beginning from next month, I want to be able to publish what the company makes. I have told the President that as from next week, I will be sending him weekly reports.”
