Former Chief Security Officer (CSO) to ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan, Gordon Obua is critically ill, his friends have said.

Obua is said to have been admitted at the National Hospital in Abuja since he was released from the custody of the Department of State Service on July 21, 2015.

The former CSO is reportedly suffering physically and mentally and his abdomen is swollen.
Plans are said to be underway to fly him abroad for treatment.
Obua was arrested by the DSS to give account of his tenure and was released after he fell unconscious due to a hunger strike.
