5 killed in Plateau during Buhari’s visit

Meanwhile, the Plateau State Police Public Relations Officer, Tyopev Mathias has denied knowledge of any attack in the area.

President Buhari was in Plateau stateon a two day visit, where he promised to beef up security during a town hall meeting on Thursday.

Channels Television reports that two lives were lost during the attacks and the other three people died in the hospital.

Herdsmen madness has gone too far

Buhari had earlier condemned the killing of 29 people by herdsmen in Nkiedonwhro Village, Plateau State, saying that the madness of the group has gone too far.

According to a statement issued by Mallam Garba Shehu, the President also ordered that a plan be put in place to ensure that the incident does not happen again.
