Kachikwu says PH, Warri refineries now producing petrol

Kachikwu made the disclosure via a statement released by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on Sunday, April 24, 2016.

Nigeria's Oil Minister and OPEC president Emmanuel Ibe Kachikwu addresses a news conference after a meeting of OPEC oil ministers in Vienna, Austria, December 4, 2015.

Kachikwu made the disclosure via a statement released by the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) on Sunday, April 24, 2016.

“Port Harcourt is back in production; Warri is back in production; Kaduna, as of today, is receiving crude and will soon be back in production. Lagos is easing off now from fuel scarcity and Abuja is doing the same thing; and once Kaduna begins production, the North will see a lot of improvement,” Kachikwu stated.

The minister also said that the NNPC had been able to recover the Escravos to Warri and Bonny to Port Harcourt crude supply pipelines which he described as being very important to the downstream oil sector.
