The abductors of the former Secretary to the Govt. of the federation, Chief Olu Falae, said they abducted him, so they could get some money to celebrate Sallah.

According to Vanguard Newspapers, one of the abductors, Abdullahi Usman (AKA Kadiri) said he was accosted by his friend, Datijo, who asked him to provide information of a rich man, who they could kidnap to raise money.

Uaman said “I then told him that I know one man who used to bring a Hilux vehicle to his farm and I used to see him as I move my cows about.”
