Police arraign Yunusa in court on 5 count charge(PHOTOS)

Yunusa agreed that he impregnated her, but said he was not aware she was pregnant until the police test revealed it.

According to Premium Times, he was docked on a five count charge of abduction, coercion, seduction into illicit intercourse, sexual exploitation and unlawful carnal knowledge.

An excerpt of the counts, obtained from Premium Times, read: “That you Yunusa Dahiru ‘m’ of Opolo-Epie with Dankano Mohammed ‘m’, Mallam Alhassan ‘m’ presently at large between the months of August 2015 and February 2016 at Opolo-Epie Yenagoa in the Yenagoa Judicial Division of the Federal High Court did conspire among yourselves to commit an offence to wit: Abduction and thereby committed an offence punishable under section 27 (a) of the Trafficking in Persons (Prohibition) Enforcement and Administration Act, 2015.”

You will recall that Yunusa allegedly abducted Ese from Bayelsa state and took her to Kano state, where he reportedly converted her to Islam by force and married her.

Though the accused father said no marriage took place between his son and the teenager, tests carried out by the police, has revealed that she is 5 months pregnant.

He also said Ese’s mother was aware that he was in a relationship with her daughter.

Yunusa Yellow has however pleaded not guilty to all the charges.
