US condemns suicide attack
The comments were contained in a statement released by the US Diplomatic Mission in Abuja on Thursday, February 11, 2016.

It reads:
“The US Embassy condemns the reported suicide attacks on internally displaced persons in Dikwa town, Borno State that occurred on Feb. 9.”
“The US remains committed to assisting internally displaced populations in North-Eastern Nigeria through humanitarian relief efforts.”

“We will also continue to support the Nigerian government in its fight against terrorism.”
The explosion occurred in an Internally Displaced Persons camp and more than 60 persons have been reported dead while several others were left injured.
