Nigerians react to British PM's 'fantastically corrupt' statement

Many Nigerians felt insulted at the statement, not because it was untrue but because it was uttered by a man in the middle of 'Panama Papers' scandal.

David Cameron

According to the viral video, where the PM made the statement, he was having a discussion with the Queen at an event at the Buckingham Palace to mark her 90th birthday.

Also part of the conversation with queen was the Archbishop of Canterbury, Justin Welby, who said President Muhammadu Buhari is not corrupt.

Many Nigerians felt insulted at the statement, not because it was untrue but because it was uttered by a man in the middle of Panama Papers scandal and a country, Britain, where looted Nigerian funds are believed to be laundered.
