The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adesina has condemned Charles Oputa also known as Charly Boy for taking the anti-Buhari protests to Wuse market in Abuja.

The presidential aide also described the move by the protesters as ethnicised and selfish.

According to reports, the anti-Buhari protesters were attacked by some supporters of President Buhari at the market.

Speaking on the incident, Adesina said the clash was as a result of the anti-Buhari protesters' plan to ethnicise the issue.

Addressing the pro-Buhari group on behalf of the presidency, Vanguard reports that the presidential aide said  “Just over the weekend we were with him in London and he told us that he has been following events at home very keenly. We want to thank you very much and urge you to keep this spirit of patriotism.

“This is our country, we have no other one. Whatever we make of it is what we get.”
