Nigeria’s Chief of Army Staff, Tukur Buratai has shown that he intends to participate fully in the country’s war against terrorism.

Buratai initially made this clear in July 2015 when he visited troops in Yobe despite twin bombings which rocked the state capital, Damaturu that month.
The Army Chief has also been pictured in Abuja working out with soldiers, the second time he has taken part in such an exercise.
