President sends delegation to Rann IDP camp after accidental bombing
The incident occurred on Tuesday, January 17, and left about a 100 people dead and several others injured.

“A team from PMB heads for Maiduguri on condolence visit. It is made of Chief of Staff, Service Chiefs, Ministers of Information and Defence,” Buhari’s spokesman, Femi Adesina said via Twitter.
Buhari has also cancelled the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council.

The bombing also affected aid workers as officials of Doctors Without Borders (Medecins Sans Frontieres) and International Committee of the Red Cross were said to have lost their lives in the incident.
