Kabir Akingbolu further accused Buhari and Osinbajo of violating Section 172 and Section 11 (1) and (2) of the Code of Conduct for public officers by their actions.
“I know as a fact as a legal practitioner that Buhari and Osinbajo are duty bound to declare their assets publicly and it will be in the interest of justice, public peace and good governance to grant the reliefs in this suit,” Akingbolu said in an affidavit filed before a Federal High Court in Lagos.
Other defendants in the case are the Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) and the Code of Conduct Bureau (CCB).
The President and Vice President have been called upon severally to declare their assets publicly in order to fulfill a promise they made to Nigerians during their campaign.
