Ben Nwabueze

According to a report by Vanguard Newspaper, Nwabueze said the dominance of the country’s security outfits leadership by Muslims is a sign of a grand plan by President Buhari to Islamise Nigeria.

Nwabueze made this known while responding to questions from journalists after attending a meeting of Igbo Leaders of Thought.

In his words: “Islamisation agenda is real, it’s not something that somebody has just conjured up, it’s there. And it’s being implemented gradually. Look at the security agencies; every aspect of security, Islamists are in control in its entirety. They are methodically, the way they are going about its implementation. Look at Fulani herdsmen menace, it is part of it."

An author of over 30 books, Nwabueze had once said President Buhari lacks the capacity to govern the country.
