Terrorists abduct 20 in Borno

The victims, which include women and children, were taken from Akada-Banga village in the Bama Local Government Area of the state, residents say.

Boko Haram militants have reportedly abducted 20 people from a village in Borno state.

A security source told Vanguard:

“The information we received yesterday from our personnel in the area revealed that the abducted commuters were coming from Walasa village in Bama local government area where they went to attend a weekly market.”

“The Boko Haram terrorists attacked Akada-Banga village on February 8 and in the process waylaid a passenger bus conveying some villagers, among who were women and children. They abducted all of them by taking them to an unknown destination. They abandoned the bus in the village,” the source added.
