Nigerian soldiers on anti-Boko Haram operation in Borno State

This was disclosed by the Acting Director, Army Public Relations, Colonel Sani Usman via a statement.

It reads in part:

“Troops of 254 Task Force Battalion, 25 Task Force Brigade in conjunction with vigilantes have conducted clearance operation of remnants of Boko Haram terrorists at Gwashari village along Damboa-Bale road.”

“During the patrol, the troops encountered some elements of the Boko Haram terrorists in which they killed one and captured 3 others.”

Usman also said that the troops recovered one Dane gun, AK-47 rifle magazine, two knives, assorted drugs and the sum of N142,000 from the terrorists during the operation.
