The security detail was withdrawn on October 28, 2014, after Tambuwal’s defection from the ruling Peoples Democratic Party to the All Progressives Congress (APC).
The Department of State Security Services (DSS) had restored Tambuwal’s secret service security detail on Wednesday, March 11.
