The Wife of the President, Mrs Aisha Buhari, has donated food to Internally Displaced Persons (IDPs) at Dalori Camp in Maiduguri where more than 21,000 victims of insurgency are living.

Aisha said she would continue to assist IDPs by donating food and other essential items to reduce their suffering.

The president’s wife made the donation at Dolari Camp in Maiduguri on Wednesday.
She said the Federal Government had been making effort to end insurgency soon so that they could relocate to their various homes.
The donated foods are rice, semovita, cooking oil, seasonings, plastic, milk, juice, among others.

Wife of the Borno Governor, Hajiya Nana Shettima, said the visit of Mrs Buhari had given the state a sense of belonging.
