David, Victoria Beckham renew their vows

David and Victoria Beckham have renewed their wedding vows many years after they did it the first time.

David Beckham and Victoria have been married since 1999

The ex-footballer opened up on this when he was a guest on the 75th-anniversary edition of BBC 4's Desert Island Discs.

David and Victoria married in a fancy, glitzy ceremony in 1999 when the groom was still a player with Manchester United, and the bride was still part of the British all-girls music group, Spice Girls.

While the first ceremony was grand closely followed by the media, the second was pretty much hush-hush, with only few people invited by the couple.

“We did throw a lot at (our first wedding). We have renewed our vows since then and it was a lot more private, there was about six people there in our house,” David said on the show.

The date of renewing their vows was not disclosed by David, but he and Victoria have been married for close to 18 years and have four kids - Brooklyn, Romeo, Cruz and Harper.
