Rihanna Is The New Face of Balmain

Songstress, Rihanna is the face of French brand, Balmain. She stars in the Spring Summer Campaign shoot to be unveiled in January.

Bad girl Riri is the new face of Balmain! The songstress was revealed as the face of the French clothing brand in their recent Spring 2014 Campaign.

Rihanna, herself a fashion forward celebrity put all in for the 80s inspired campaign shoot which was fierce.

Balmain's creative director, Olivier Rousteing described working with Rihanna as a dream come true, calling her a fresh, modern and uncompromising icon of this generation.

"In front of the camera, she makes you feel like she is the only girl in the world," adding that "When the woman that inspires you wears your creations, your vision feels complete."

The advert was shot in New York by Inez van Lamsweerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Rihanna's personal stylist Mel Ottenberg styled the shoot.

Riri is the second songstress to star in a fashion campaign this season; Givenchy started the trend with songstress Erykah Badu.
