This month's edition came at a time when Lagos conversations have been dominated by the fuel scarcity and petrol queues and their has been little for the city's residents to be cherry about. Therefore, as hoped by the organizers, the audience and all present, left their worries behind and enjoyed a night of great live music by the Bantu collective and three very different and talented artists: Daddy Showkey, Temi Dollface, and Tunde Jegede.
Ade Bantu came on first to open the show, performed songs like; Lagos jump, Fire Inna dancehall, Gentleman. Tunde Jegede a composer and multi-instrumentalist in contemporary classical, African and pop music also performed hit songs from its five solo albums including his seminal debut, Lamentation, Still Moment and Milian Royal Court Music. Singer/Songwriter Temi Dollface was the second guest performer,and she performed her breakthrough songs - Pata Pata and School Your Face. Then cameGalala singerand Ghetto Soldier Daddy Showkey the headline artiste of the night. He was energetic and he took the audience down memory lane, as he performed his hit songs Somebody call my name, Dyna, and Fire. Expectations didn't fall short, as the music and performances were worthy of the stages in the world.

The show is held every third Friday of each month. Show starts promptly from 8:00pm - 10:30/ 11:00pm. Afropolitan Vibes is co-produced by Ade Bantu and Abby Ogunsanya.
