Growing up in a famous place known as Mile 2 Diobu, Port Harcourt, had a huge influence on his sound. For him, he said, “My environment influenced my music. However, I had always looked up to acts like 2face. I listened to music from the likes of Faze, Wande Coal and songs from more of those Afrobeats pace setters at the time,” OG Tubaski revealed.

Tubaski started recording in 2014, which officially led to the release of his first single tagged “Undertaker.” The same year, he unveiled “My Padi,” and did a follow-up remix with Knowledge, a part of the notable Ajebohustlers duo. Concerning his long absence from the music industry. OG Tubaski has considered a return into the soundscape sooner than later to unfold a fresh single this June 30.

According to him, “With the rising influence of Amapiano, I have decided to return with a captivating single tagged “Bebenlo,” which is an astute mix of dancehall fusion and the famed Amapiano bounce. After this long break, I need to come back with a big bang! So, let’s just say it’s time to dance,” He concluded so happily and cheerfully.

In experiencing tremendous growth and development during his hiatus from making music. He shared, “I understand a lot of things better now. And I have been able to experience a huge amount of growth so far and in a few years from now, I see myself selling out event centers and halls. And also, having top collaborations from some of the biggest names within the music industry.”

OG Tubaski also added that he would love to make music with a majority of new school artists. From the likes of Ajebohustlers, Zinolessky, Odumodublvck and a handful of them. While he confessed having shared a striking resemblance with the name of his role model in an uncanny form. He addressed the legendary 2face Idibia as the artiste he models on one end, and also reveals on the other end that including his stage name was inspired by 2baba’s name. Also, they bear similar striking personalities and it is pretty fascinating.
