American rapper, Future to storm Lagos in December

This will be Future's first headline concert in Africa.

The event will be held at Eko Convention Centre, Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria. Future made the announcement on November 23, 2019 via a video on his fan page @futurexsavage. The video has since gone viral.

In the video Future says, "For all my Nigerian followers, Future will be performing in Lagos on December 29th.” He also thanked the show organizers Toro Entertainment Company. The news comes after his just-concluded Legendary Nights Tour with Meek Mill and his recent Grammy nomination for Best Rap Performance.

In his career, Future has released over 30 studio projects - seven solo albums, five collaborative albums, two EPs and mixtapes. Every year, Future releases at least two projects. His last released project was 7-track EP, Save Me. It documents the effects of vanity on Future's life. The EP follows his seventh album, WZRD.

Since he released he debut 2011 mixtape, Streetz Calling, he has amassed a huge following in Nigeria. However, most people knew him on YC's 2010 smash hit single, 'Racks.' Since then, his singles 'Turn On The Lights,' 'Lamborghini,' March Madness' 'Mask Off' and some big features for Rihanna, DJ Khaled, Rick Ross and so forth have huge in Nigeria.

The event is organised by Toro Entertainment Company (TEC) and there are more surprises as fans countdown to the event day. Future Live in Concert joins the list of other anticipated concerts in December including Kizz Daniel Live and 2baba Live which hold December 26 & 28 2019 respectively.
